Tyler Crispen, one of the most popular houseguests in the history of Big Brother, has decided that he won't play the game ever again.
Tyler was among the 16 Big Brother veterans who returned for the All-Star season. The Big Brother 20 runner-up finished in sixth place this season, as his "Committee" alliance began to split up.
In an Instagram post, Tyler shared a thank you message for his many Big Brother fans. At the end of the post, Tyler thanked Big Brother and said BB22 "will 100 % be my last season."
Tyler isn't the only Big Brother 22 houseguest who announced his retirement from the show. Big Brother 18 winner Nicole Franzel, who finished third place in BB22, has ruled out returning for a fourth season. Dani Briones, who was evicted a week before Tyler, also said she's done playing the game.
He finished second in voting for America's Favorite Houseguest, which was won by Da'Vonne Rogers. Tyler, of course, won those honors (and an additional $25,000) in his first Big Brother season.
Tyler won two Head of Household competitions, and he used them to evict two of the strongest players in the show's history: Janelle Pierzina (week 3) and Dani (week 8). He also won two separate Power of Veto competitions.
The Committee finally began to dismantle when Tyler won his second HOH competition. He nominated Nicole and Dani for eviction, and the latter was sent home by a 4-0 vote. A week later, Tyler was evicted, as The Committee decided to go target him and Christmas Abbott.
Cody Calafiore, one of Tyler's biggest allies this season, won Big Brother 22 over Enzo Palumbo in the finals. Cody received all nine jury votes to capture the $500,000 prize - six years after losing in the finals to his friend, Derrick Levasseur.
Big Brother 22 wasn't as exciting as many fans had expected, but at least viewers got to see some of their favorite houseguests (like Tyler) play the game one last time.
