Dutch progressive and electro house DJ and music producer Hardwell has amassed an impressive net worth of $30 million. He is widely known for his fun and enjoyable live sets at major music festivals. At 30, he is at the peak of his career and most of his income came from his stage performances and performing at nightclubs. It was reported that his annual salary is estimated to be about $10 million. He has bought his own mansion located in Breda and has a stunning collection of luxury cars. The Musical Journey Of Hardwell

Robbert van de Corput is Hardwell’s real name who was born in Breda, Netherlands to mother Anneke and father Cor van de Corput. When he was about four years old, he already began taking piano lessons and started attending music school. When he reached the age of twelve, he started producing his own song and his first song were in the field of electro while he performs as the hip-hop DJ. At a very young age he was already active in various sports as well such as martial arts like judo. He was influenced by DJ and producer Tiësto who was also from Breda. He decided to pursue a career as a DJ and while doing so, he started competing in different competitions for DJ. He became known to his town through his participation in numerous DJ competitions. With his skills and talent, he began making a name for himself in the DJ scene. His pseudonym Hardwell was the idea of his father. His father translated their surname into Latin and English, cor means heart and put means well. However they changed the heart to hard to make his pseudonym more appealing.

At the time when hip-hop became an underground scene, he has decided to change his genre to commercial electronic dance music. He then started producing numerous remixes and then uploaded them on numerous platforms on the internet. When he was fourteen, he was offered a record deal from the record label Digidance by a Dutch producer duo Klubbheads. About three weeks after the he signed the deal, he released his first official mix with a two-disc-record titled Bubbling Beats 1. Soon after the release of his first official record, he started touring through Netherlands. He has appeared in numerous dance clubs across the country. He then releases his first official single titled Play It Around in 2006 which was played in numerous German club.

Breakthrough In The DJ Scene

Hardwell followed up his first single with releasing the song titled Never Knew Love at the end of 2007. The song was produced as his collaboration with Greatski and it placed on the top of the official German single-charts. He then created remixes for Chuckie's Toys Are and Gregor’s Salto together with Dutch producer and fellow DJ R3hab. The duo also created remixes for Sidney Samson and Skitzofrenix’s You Do Not Love Me. Hardwell went on to produce numerous mixes since then, in 2008 he produced a mash up of the tracks of Laidback Luke’s Be and Robin S.’s Show Me Love. His bootleg of Show Me Love became popular and was played by several DJs across the country and even by Laidback Luke and Steve Angello praised it.

When his remix of Show Me Love became popular, they made sure they would not pass this opportunity and at the end of 2008, by Laidback Luke and Steve Angello released the track as the official cover version of the song Show Me Love. In 2009 Tiesto then invited Hardwell to attend one of his performances. They then performed together on stage and because of this exposure, Hardwell soon landed numerous gigs on different media events including the Dancevalley Festival where he himself produced the official anthem with the title Twilight Zone.

A Journey That Led Him To Enormous Wealth

In 2010, Hardwell decided to establish his own record label, Revealed Records which is now called Revealed. He established the said record label so that he could help the young talents of releasing their own electronic dance music. After he founded his record label, he then contacted numerous EDM artists including the duo W&W and some of his personal friends Dyro and Dannic. Every year, Revealed Records released compilation which is called Hardwell Presents Revealed which contains tracks released by the record label with Hardwell's own new songs. On 2015, the fifth anniversary of the record label, they released a sampler which contains the 100 most popular tracks which was chosen through a voting system on the website of Revealed. The top three of the tracks were Burn by KSHMR and DallasK, Left Behind by Paris Blohm and Taylr Renee, and Spaceman by Hardwell.

Soon, he started performing nationwide and the video streams of his performances were uploaded on his own YouTube channel which has collectively gained about 100 million views. His fame continued and he won numerous awards including Worlds No.1 DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll in 2013. He has cemented his position as the newest superstar DJ of EDM and he became the youngest DJ to win the coveted Top 100 DJs award. Today, he has a podcast which is currently streaming to over 40 countries. He has released ten albums through his own label which made him tons of money.
